Living in Thailand is quite perfect. The food is lovely, the temperature always warm (or hot), the Thai people always smile, beautiful beaches and in general life is so much cheaper here then in any western country.

But the smile of your gardener is different than the one of the immigration officer and the Thai food might well be to spicy. There is a lot of things that are completely different from where you come from.

This site is trying to get all information necessary for people who are planning to retire in Thailand or live here already but still are looking for day to day information.

We use 3 sources to obtain the necessary info. First the internet where most information is available but often scattered, second our own experience after having 15 years experience of living in Thailand and last but not least; YOU. On all relevant pages you can leave your comments. That can be in the form of a question, but also if you have more or better info concerning a subject just go to the bottom of the page and leave your comments.
